Another hot, humid week in northeastern Illinois. We did catch 1.3 inches of rain this week. Corn and soybeans are doing well. Some corn stalks on drier soils are starting to fire up. As before, lots of combine service happening. Next week's weather looks more fall-like with high temps in the lower 70s. Schools are back in full swing. Fall high school sports are all back on. Be safe, everyone.
