Ongoing U.S. tariff negotiations create uncertainty for agricultural exporters

Sean O'Toole at CHS Hedging said, "Ongoing US tariff negotiations, particularly with China, continue to create uncertainty for agricultural exporters, especially soybean farmers. Many in the industry are requesting more certainty and stable trade agreements to support market planning and profitability. Chapter 12 bankruptcy filings among US farmers have risen sharply due to depressed commodity prices and rising input costs.”
