Pork export and beef export sales down for week ending August 14

The Hightower Report said, “U.S. pork export sales for the week ending August 14 came in at 19,200 tons compared with the average of the previous four weeks of 27,200 tons. Cumulative sales for the 2025 marketing year have reached 1,142,900 tons, down 3.6% versus last year’s pace.” The Hightower Report said, “U.S. beef export sales for the week ending August 14 came in at 10,100 tons compared with the average of the previous four weeks of 11,400 tons. Cumulative sales for the 2025 marketing year have reached 536,500 tons, down 2.7% versus last year’s pace.”
