U.S. administration threatens 50% tariffs on Brazilian imports

Sean O'Toole at CHS Hedging said, "The US administration has threatened 50% tariffs on Brazilian imports, escalating a trade row with major implications for agricultural commodities. Brazil is retaliating, and the standoff could disrupt US supply chains for soybeans, beef, and ethanol, as Brazil is a critical exporter. This has added volatility and uncertainty, especially given that Brazil's ag exports account for over 25% of its GDP."
